Vegetarian options were really great for sushi the veggie tempura rolls and avocado rolls were awesome! Way better than the vegetarian after thoughts you would find at a different sushi place. And the tempura cheesecake was amazing felt really unique! Fantastic, super nice service! Thank you! ”

“ The food here was pretty decent. I saw a picture of a really tasty looking little thing that had Ikura, Uni, and Toro in a spoon and asked for one of those and it was good! They ran out of Toro but they had hamachi belly and they asked if I was ok with replacing it, which I was cool with. Apparently theres no name for it, so just show them the pic and say you want one of those haha. The nigiri I got were decent. I liked the Ikura the most. The California roll was also solid and had a generous portion. Oh and they have plum wine! ”

“ Ju Hachi is located in Sacramentos midtown area and offers a taste of their Japan with curated menu, featuring entrees, sets, rolls, and even rotating seasonal items. We arrived around 8pm on a Sunday night for dinner. the restaurant was sparsely populated at this hour, and we were seated quickly without any wait. we decided to order their capitol roll, sunshine roll, and mini chirashi set. The rolls were expertly crafted full of fresh fish and accompanying flavors that made for a truly enjoyable bite every time. I will admit however, that the roll cuts were a tad uneven and so some pieces were quite a bit larger than others, which may not bother everyone, but did make it a bit difficult for me to finish some of the pieces in just one bite. As good as their rolls were, the star of the meal was definitely their mini chirashi set, which was also highly recommended by our server. The mini chirashi comes with 10 pieces of sashimi over sushi rice, accompanied by with mixed tempura, miso soup, and sunomono salad or Japanese cucumber salad you truly get the most bang for your buck. As with their other raw fish offerings, the chirashi set was fresh and flavorful, while the accompanying tempura was a crispy delight to eat. Definitely my goto item for any future meals I partake in here. If youre looking for Japanese cuisine in the midtown area, then I highly recommend giving Ju Hachi a try! ”

“ Came here for lunch my chance and loved it! Had their bento box with BBQ salmon and sashimi and completely forgot to take a photo because it was so delicious. Their miso and salad were excellent. We also had their large tempura plate and the crunch was wonderful. We also found the broccoli was extra delicious probably the best tempura broccoli weve had. We also tried the Spicy Maria roll and wow. The roll itself was large and they did not skimp on crab or salmon. The lemon and tajin were wonderful combos of flavors too. Finally, the employees were friendly and attentive. We definitely will be coming back! ”
